You Don’t Have to go Home, But You Can Stay Here: Spring Break Plans Unveiled
Many college students are eager to break away from everyday assignments and exams to spend time with friends or take a trip for spring break. During the week off, staycations are becoming more popular to relax and reorganize. Spring break staycations for college students include hiking in the mountains, and fun activities with family and friends.
Here are some UNG students’ plans for Spring Break.
Mariam Gallagha, a sophomore biology major said, “I plan to stay home and work during spring break.”
Joseph Hall said, “For spring break, I am going to Disney World.”
Jasmine Fu is a freshman studying studio art at UNG, Gainesville Campus. She said,“I do not have any plans for spring break.”
Carlos Salaria is a sophomore, accounting major at UNG and also has not made any plans for spring break.
Elias Quintero, a sophomore double major in biology and general studies at UNG says, “I am going to try to take a break from school. But unfortunately, I care about my school so I probably going to be studying for my midterms and exams that I have coming up. After the break, I!m going to take some time aside because I need to hang out with a couple of friends and visit their hometowns.”
Betzy Romulo, a senior journalism major at UNG Gainesville says, “I will be picking up extra shifts at work and I will also be hanging out with friends. I plan on taking one day to go visit the mountains and hike and shop.”
LeLe Mang a senior graphic design major says, “Maybe I will do homework or fly to Lucena and spend time with my best friend.”
Andrew Esparso, a senior biology major at the Gainesville campus says, “I am going to Puerto Rico.”
Morelia G., also a senior biology major says “I have no plans as of right now for spring break. But I hope to do something.”
“I am probably going to be working on commissions and hanging out with friends,” says Sara Ledbetter, a freshman fine arts major.
