The University of North Georgia is set to begin the fall semester on Monday, Aug. 12. Along with the start of classes, the school’s Weeks of Welcome (WoW) events will begin in full swing on the same day.
Each campus coordinates a variety of social activities and educational programs aimed at easing the transition to college-level work. WoW events are a great way to meet other students, interact with faculty and staff and get better acquainted with university resources, opportunities, and expectations.
The WoW events help incorporate the Four Pillars of Success, deemed by UNG as “Academic Achievement, Belonging and Engagement, Sense of Purpose and Wellbeing.”
