University of North Georgia is gearing up for students to return to campus on Monday, Aug. 12. To welcome students back, all five UNG campuses are hosting their own version of the Weeks of Welcome.
WoW is a two-week event that is held to get students excited for the start of another school year. These events are a great way to meet new friends and meet some of the faculty that many people may not see during their day-to-day routine.
Below is a list of all the WoW events on the UNG Cumming campus:
Monday, Aug. 12
- “Welcome Tent”: 7:30 a.m. – 2 p.m., First Floor Lobby
UNG Cumming staff will be welcoming students, answering questions, and providing directions.

- “Match the Pet with the Staff Member”: all day, various locations

- “Outdoor Games and Food Truck”: 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., Outside Pavilion
Take a break to play a game of corn hole, throw a frisbee or football, or hang in a hammock while enjoying Super Taco food truck!
