Summer break is coming up for the University of North Georgia.
From summer jobs and internships, to beach trips and time spent with friends and family, here is what some students said about summer break.
What is your ideal Summer Break?
“My ideal summer break is to travel the world as much as possible. Looking back at it though, I consider the summer of my junior year of high school to be the best summer break. Four of my friends and I jammed four kayaks in the back of my dad’s truck to go fishing, but it just turned into bumper cars.” Jaxon Evans, junior information systems major
“Lots of time in the sun whether that’s on the boat or playing golf. [Also] tons of time with my family and a few quick vacations.” TJ Wilson, senior kinesiology major
“Honestly, never leaving my room and playing all the new video games that come out over the summer with my friends.” Xavier Morales, junior computer science major
“Finding a good balance between vacations and work.” Dylan White, freshman kinesiology major
“Finally going home from a long school year and getting to hang out with friends and family. I would like to do things with my friends that I do not see throughout the school year.” Bentley Wheeler, junior business major
What are your plans for this upcoming Summer Break?
“My plan this summer is unfortunately to work so I can travel in the future. That is besides one trip to Las Vegas with a couple friends for my 21st birthday.” Jaxon Evans
“I am running my first marathon, going on a few vacations and obviously, lots of golf will be played.”- TJ Wilson
“I am going to Puerto Rico for 10 days to celebrate my brother’s wedding. Other than that, I look forward to playing a lot of video games.” Xavier Morales
“I plan to work more hours and go full time now that I am not in school, along with going on vacation once or twice.” Dylan White
“My family usually takes a trip to the beach the beginning of summer, and I get to eat a lot of good seafood. Bentley Wheeler
