Taylor Swift released a new version of her original 2012 “Red” album on Nov. 12 and the deliverance has left fans in a nostalgic frenzy.

The new album includes 30 songs featuring old hits such as “We Are Never Getting Back Together,” “22,” and a 10-minute version of “All Too Well.”

Swift has explained that the now 10-minute version of the song is what she originally wanted to put on the first “Red” album, but she thought that it was too long of a song to release.

On The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Swift mentioned how the 10-minute version came to be. Swift said, “And so I started playing guitar and just kind of playing the same four chords over and over again… The band sort of joined in, and I started ad-libbing what I was going through and what I was feeling, and it went on and the song kept building and building and building in intensity, and the song just went on for about, you know, 10 to 15 minutes of us doing this.”

Apple Music puts Taylor Swift at no. 1.

A teaser for the “All Too Well Short Film” was posted on Nov. 5 along with a film poster that features actors Dylan O’Brien and Sadie Sink touching foreheads and staring at one another. The film released on the same day of the album drop. Swift directed the video starring O’Brien and Sink as the main characters.

Swift is known for singing about her past relationships. Fans have borderline confirmed that “All Too Well” is about Swift’s ex-boyfriend and famous actor: Jake Gyllenhaal. Many Easter eggs are put throughout the song and the short film that link their relationship to the music and scenes.

The speculations began when the original “Red” album dropped less than a year after the two broke up. After the 10-minute version was released, fans began to tie “All Too Well” lyrics to events that happened between the couple.

Swift sings the words, “You said if we had been closer in age, maybe it would have been fine.” Gyllenhaal was 29 years old and she was 20 while they dated.

Another line of lyrics reads, “And I was never good at telling jokes, but the punchline goes ‘I’ll get older, but your lovers stay my age’.” This line has brought up talk of the fact that Gyllenhaal is now 40 years old and dating 25-year-old model, Jeanne Cadieu.

Although Swift has neither denied nor confirmed that the speculations are true, the 10-minute song is sitting at number one on Apple Music’s Top 100 Song Chart for the USA.
