Spring break is right around the corner for the University of North Georgia.
Though movies and television glorify the college spring break experience, most students at UNG have relaxed plans as they jump into break. We asked some of them what their ideal spring break looks like and what their reality is.
What’s your favorite Spring Break memory?
“My favorite spring break memory is going to my grandma’s house in Tampa, Florida, and going to the beach with my family.”– Leah Kennedy, freshman business management major
“My junior year of high school, my school’s drama club prepared for the Shuler Awards for high school theatre.”– Nora Kinkead, sophomore elementary education major

What’s your dream Spring Break trip?

“Honestly resting with nowhere to go and spending time with friends or going on any type of mission trip with a group of people.”– Erynn Byrom, a sophomore psychology major
“My dream spring break vacation was to go to Puerto Rico or Cancun this spring break as an early graduation trip but things fell through due to my friends and my work schedule.”- Katie Ratcliff, a senior kinesiology major
