Branchwater Steak and Seafood, located In Vickery Village in Forsyth County has been a go-to restaurant for 11 years, this June.

“I came into this area and wanted to create a restaurant that could be a date night, everyday dining or just your local bar where everyone feels comfortable. A place where everyone knows your name, kind of like ‘Cheers,’ but in Vickery. This restaurant did that and became everything my heart wanted.” -Todd Hogan, chef and owner of Branchwater

Chef Todd Hogan uses his creative talents to make delicious fusion cuisine.

Hogan’s sauces are made in house, even the ketchup, so each taste is unique to only his restaurants. Every few months, Chef Hogan and Chef Jose Trejo work to create a new menu for the season.

“I would say Branchwater is a southern, contemporary approach to steaks and seafoods. We do have some international twists to it, like the palm seared ahi tuna,” said Hogan.

Branchwater has a full bar, and Hogan’s wine and bourbon menus have a wide range to select from. Branchwater partnered up with Whistlepig Distillery and have their own barrels of bourbons that are exclusive to the restaurant. This is yet another option that only Branchwater has to offer.

Along with unique dishes and bar selections, the staff at Branchwater keeps many guests coming back over the years.

“What makes this restaurant so special isn’t me, it’s the people working here, the team members we have, the costumers we have. The relationships created here make it what it is. This place feels like home. I tried to replicate that in all my other restaurants, but it just isn’t the same,” said Hogan.

Branchwater has different drink specials Monday-Thursday. Along with different appetizer, soup and dinner specials nightly. There is also live music every Friday and Saturday.

Branchwater frequently hosts a bourbon and wine club at Branchwater Vickery. It’s a great way to learn new knowledge on alcohol while also connecting with people in the community.

There seems to be something for everyone at Branchwater. For good food, a good time and good people, stop by Branchwater at 5820 S. Vickery St. in Cumming, GA.

Hogan also owns Branchwater Canton, Branch and Barrell, Community Burgers. Two new locations are expected soon.
