Located far away from the hustle and bustle of city life, Shrek’s iconic “swamp” can be found within the expansive Ardverikie Estate, a 19th-century Scottish mansion nestled in the picturesque Scottish Highlands, approximately 60 miles to the south of Inverness. 

The Airbnb offers a tranquil setting that feels like it’s straight out of a storybook. Surrounded by lush forests and rolling hills, the property provides a sense of seclusion and serenity, making it the perfect retreat for those looking to escape the everyday grind.

Upon arriving at the Shrek Airbnb, guests are greeted by a life-sized replica of Shrek’s iconic swamp home. This charming abode features all the quirky details you’d expect, including a thatched roof, rustic wooden walls, and even some homemade signs warning guests about the titular ogre.
