Late Bird Gets the Worm: UNG SGA Hosts Midnight Breakfast
Get ready to de-stress before finals week with some homemade breakfast. The University of North Georgia’s Student Government Association is hosting a “midnight breakfast” this Thursday from 10 p.m. to 12 a.m. Join your classmates at the dining hall if you would like to participate to forget about finals for a while.
The SGA’s midnight breakfast is hosted every semester as a way to calm the nerves of UNG students before finals. This enduring tradition provides a way for students to unwind with their friends and enjoy some breakfast. The first 100 commuter students to show up will receive free meals. The event also features opportunities to win prizes.
Senior marketing major Marie Jordan says she has enjoyed going to the midnight breakfast events each year of her time at UNG. “It’s a great break from the stress of studying for finals before everyone is overwhelmed,” Jordan says. “The SGA gets a lot of people to come and hang out around chow. It’s a fun campus tradition.”
