UNG is launching a completely new website in the beginning of Summer 2021 to appeal more to prospective students.
Director of Web Communications for University Relations, Joanie Chembars states the purpose for the website launch is to “help guide our prospective students down the enrollment funnel and help them find the information that they need.” She says the resources provided for current students and faculty will still be easily accessible from the new website. She also stated the pages that market each degree are “moving from department sites to a centralized degree site to make them more marketing focused.”
Because of the new website, the university is asking faculty, staff, and students to share their story of life as a nighthawk, to be featured on the new website, so prospective students can get “real authentic content” from the community.
The university would like to know some of your favorite experiences at school, why you chose to go to UNG, things you have learned from the school, and trivial information you have heard about the university. Anyone from any campus, including online, is welcome to share or submit photos. Story submissions are open until April 1 to have a chance to be featured on the new website this summer. Submissions are reviewed by university relations and do not guarantee publication.
